SALEM: The Federation of District and Subordinate Courts Bar Associations of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry has called for temporary suspension of the boycott of court proceedings following a decision taken by the Full Court of the Madras High Court withholding its recommendation to the Tamil Nadu Government to allow the court staffs with law degree to apply for the post of Civil Judges. The federation had decided to call for the suspension of the protest during the executive committee meeting held here on Thursday, its Chairman C.P. Paramasivam said. The advocates would attend the court from July 21. On July 4, the advocates begun the boycott opposing the decision of the Full Court Meetings to permit court staff to participate in the selection process for appointment of civil judges.
