Student dies in classroom

KALPETTA: A Plus-one student died after vomiting blood when in class at Poothadi Sree Narayana Higher Secondary school, near Kenichira, in the district on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Suchithra, 16, daughter of late Kalloor Vasu, at Vakery near Sulthan Bathery.

She was rushed to a private hospital at Sulthan Bathery. Doctors declared her dead on arrival.

Suchithra is survived by her mother Omana and sister Suma.
