Rishika in final

NEW DELHI: Rishika Sunkara continued with her good run and knocked-out the second-seeded Petra Jurova of Slovak Republic 6-4, 6-0 in the girls’ semifinals of the ITF junior grade ‘IV’ tennis tournament in Damascus, Syria, on Thursday.

Rishika will face Melis Sezer of Turkey who ousted Ankita Raina 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 in a three-hour battle.

In the boys semifinals, Alfredo Desiati of Italy stopped Shiva Sangwan 6-2, 6-2.
