LeT module behind grenade lobbing busted

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir police on Thursday claimed to have busted a module of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Kupwara district with the arrest of four militants involved in grenade attacks on a police party and an army convoy.

The leader of the module, Shahnaz Khan alias Umer, Mudasir Ahmad Lone alias Hamid Molvi, Musaib Ahmad Bhat alias Nasir Chotto and Farooq Ahmad Ganie were arrested from Supernaghama, Khaipora, Sopore and Watergam in north Kashmir’s Kupwara and Baramulla districts. — PTI
