Power cuts and unending complaints
If there is one thing that’s engaging the attention of everyone in city, it’s the power cuts. Authorities have been announcing scheduled power cut timings, but they do not seem to be following them. There have been several complaints about power cuts taking place beyond the scheduled timings. Then comes the question. Why should the authorities announce power cuts at all? Perhaps, perception management must have been the reason why they dutifully fax the power
cut timings to newspaper offices everyday in the hope of creating an impression that the cuts are very minimal. But the trick does not work with alert people.
Scores of them have been calling up newspaper offices complaining that if the announced power cut is for three hours, there would not be power supply for at least six hours.
