Held for murder
NEW DELHI: Three young men have been arrested by the North Delhi police for their alleged involvement in a murder case at Ballimaran earlier this month. A police team mounted raid in trans-Yamuna area on Wednesday and arrested Mohammed Saleem, Wasim and Shaheen. Two of their accomplices are still at large.
The accused were opposed to their cousin sister’s marriage with Sadiq. On July 7, the five accused cornered Sadiq and his brothers Taiyeb and Tariq. While Sadiq managed to escape, Taiyeb and Tariq were shot at and injured by the accused. Tariq had later succumbed to his injuries.
