Chennai: T.U. Navin Kanna shot into sole lead in the SRM Tamil Nadu junior chess championship being played at the SRM University premises in Kattankulathur on Thursday. Having taken the lead in the morning session, former National U-14 champion Navin kept the top position with a 40-move win over K.V. Venprakash. Navin is on five points after five rounds.
