DMK activists to observe fast

PUDUCHERRY: Activists of the DMK would observe fast on Saturday to draw the attention of the Centre to the travails of Tamil Nadu fishermen, who had been subjected to attacks by the Sri Lankan Navy.

In a statement here, convener of the Puducherry unit of the DMK R.V. Janakiraman said the protest would be staged near the Nehru statue on the Beach Road from 8 am to 5 pm.
