ELURU: The CPI (M) has decided to organise ‘cycle jathas’ in the district from July 20, seeking to implement the Forest Area Rights Protection Act effectively. The jathas will cover Polavaram, Gopalapuram, Buttayagudem, Jeelugumilli, T. Narsapuram, Kamavarapukota, Lingapalem and Chintalapudi mandals. The fortnight-long programme will be culminated into a ‘Maha dharna’ at Eluru on August 2, according to the party district secretary M. Sitaram.-Staff Reporter
