CHANDIGARH: Yamunanagar District Magistrate Nitin Kumar Yadav on Friday promulgated orders under Section 144 CrPC to prevent tension, obstruction, injuries to persons, properties, disturbance of peace and tranquillity and to ensure maintenance of law and order in the district. An official spokesman said that the orders that cyber cafe owners should keep records of all the net users including foreign nationals were not being followed. It has been made mandatory for all cyber cafe owners in the district to maintain a complete record of all users. Closed-circuit TVs with recording facility are to be installed and photographic record of all users are to be kept at the cafes. The Deputy Superintendents of Police have been directed to inspect the records of cyber cafes at least once in a quarter.
