Gowda to decide on vote
S. Rajendran
Bangalore: The Janata Dal (Secular), headed by the former Prime Minister, H.D. Deve Gowda, is all set to vote against the UPA government. It has three members in the Lok Sabha including the former Union Minister, M.P. Veerendra Kumar.
The Kerala faction, headed by Mr. Kumar, is to merge with the JD(S), following discussions between him and Mr. Gowda on the trust vote.
Mr. Gowda told The Hindu that he had been authorised to take a decision. “I will announce my decision after consultations with the national leaders of the party to be held in New Delhi on Sunday.”
