Socio economic survey launched

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Finance Minister Thomas Isaac launched the 65th round of Socio Economic Survey of the National Sample Survey Organisation on Friday. The survey will cover 840 panchayat wards and 460 urban blocks of 14 districts. About 31,000 households will be covered. Sixteen rural wards and four urban blocks of Lakshadweep will also be covered. It will also provide an assessment of the domestic tourism sector.
