CPI(M) opposes rates fixed in GO 747

The city unit of CPI (M) took a strong exception to the rates fixed in the GO 747 that allows regularisation of all houses, which were constructed prior to repeal of Urban Land Ceiling (ULC) Act, on the ULC lands.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, CPI(M) floor leader in Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) Ch. Babu Rao stated that the rates fixed by the Government were very abnormal, and a burden on common man. C
