CM opposes national mineral policy

BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday reiterated his opposition to the National Mineral Policy-2008 saying that it had ignored the country’s interests.

Inaugurating a seminar on ‘Mineral Junction: The Future Ahead’ organised by Confederation of Indian industries (CII) Orissa chapter here, Mr. Patnaik said that implementation of the new mineral policy would adversely affect the industries of the country.
