Fast nothing but a drama: Ramadoss

CHENNAI: PMK leader S.Ramadoss on Friday said that Chief Minister M Karunanidhi should prevail upon the Centre to ensure that the Sri Lankan Navy did not attack Tamil fishermen instead of organising a fast to condemn the killings. The fast was nothing but a drama, he said.
In a statement, Dr Ramadoss said Mr. Karunanidhi had failed to secure fishing rights for Tamil fishermen in and around Katchatheevu. He alleged that the DMK and Mr. Karunanidhi did nothing to end the problems of fishermen.
