HYDERABAD: Enthusiastic children with an energetic anchor electrified the air with their insatiable energy at Jubilee Hills Public School which played host to Disney Channel on Friday. Disney Channel encouraged students to participate in ‘Talk out Loud’, an initiative which would give the children an opportunity to host their favourite shows.

The Walt Disney Company (India) Private Limited conducted interactive sessions with students of the twin cities, visiting more than 15 schools.

Jubilee Hills Public School saw over 200 and odd children from Stds III to VI participating in the event. They took part in show-centric quizzes, games and other on-the-spot contests.

“I watch Disney Channel daily and I would love to host a show,” said R. Swetha, a Std.V student. “It’s a great opportunity for the children,” said Vijayalakshmi, a teacher. For this programme, 50 short-listed participants from each city would be judged on their stage presence, confidence and unique style, of which 10 would be selected for the semi-finals. At the end of the elimination rounds, one participant would be selected to host a show for a year.

“The audience will be given an opportunity to be the hosts,” said K. Seshasaye, Director, Corporate Communications, Walt Disney India.
