Road widening

SALEM: The widening of Hasthampatti - Kannankurichi Road has begun in the city on Thursday. Veerapandi MLA A. Raja inaugurated the work at a function held at Chinna Tirupathi here on Thursday.

The Government would spend Rs. 1.88 crore for the work. It would construct minor bridges at seven places in the road. Mayor J. Rekha Piyadarshini and senior officials were present during the function.
