PUDUCHERRY: Tamil Nadu State Secretary of Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Balasundaram on Saturday demanded action against the police officers, who were responsible for the “unprovoked” lathicharge on residents of Kottakuppam on Tuesday. If the government failed to initiate action against the officers, the party would launch a State-wide agitation, he said.
