BIDAR: Writer C. Veeranna has said that the Kannada Sahitya Parishat needs improvement. Mr. Veeranna is contesting for the post of president of the parishat for which elections will be held on August 24. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Mr. Veeranna said the website of the parishat should be developed to record the day-to-day functioning, Sabha Bhavans should be constructed at various places in Bangalore and sahitya sammelanas should be conducted in a methodical manner. — Staff Correspondent
