13 cm rainfall at Mangalagiri

HYDERABAD: Mangalagiri and Macherla received a heavy rainfall of 13 cm and 8 cm respectively on Saturday, a day when monsoon was dull over Telangana. Anakapalle in Visakhapatnam district too recorded 8 cm during the 24-hour period ending 8.30 am Saturday. There was rain at several other places in Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema. A forecast released by the State Met Office says that there will light to moderate rains over the State on Sunday. —Special Correspondent
