Swearing-in ceremony on July 23

PUDUCHERRY: Govind Singh Gurjar will be sworn-in as the new Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry on July 23. According to official sources, the swearing-in ceremony will take place at Raj Nivas at 10 a.m. Chief Judge D. Krishnaraja would administer the oath to Mr. Gurjar.

Mr. Gurjar replaces Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands Bhopinder Singh who is holding additional charge in Puducherry. — Special Correspondent
