TRS demands white paper on R&B expenditure

HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samiti has demanded that the government bring out a white paper on the amounts spent by the Roads and Buildings Department in the backward region vis-À-vis allocation for Andhra and Rayalaseema regions. At a press conference here on Saturday, TRS MLA T. Harish Rao alleged that in the Rs. 1,000 crore World Bank-assisted programme only two roads were taken up in Telangana districts.
