Jewels, cash stolen

A businessman, K. Karunakaran, lost Rs. 2 lakh in cash and gold jewellery weighing 68 sovereigns near shopping complex bus stand here on Friday night.

He had come along with his wife to board an omni bus to Chennai. He had left his suitcase containing the valuables in the bus and got down. Few minutes later he found it missing.
