Freedom fighter’s plea on nuclear deal

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: K.E. Mammen, freedom fighter, has said that the country should go ahead and sign the Indo-U.S. nuclear deal.

In a statement here on Saturday, Mr. Mammen said democracy and secularism in the country would be in danger if the Congress weakened. — Staff Reporter
