36 school students injured

CUDDALORE: Thirty-six students were injured when a school bus on a picnic trip fell down from a narrow bridge at Karuveppilankurichi near Vriddhachalam on Friday night. The bus driver, Anthoniraj was also injured. The injured were admitted to Vriddhachalam government hospital. Later, six of the students along with the driver were referred to the Cuddalore headquarters government hospital. The police said the students were from St.Josephs’ school in Cuddalore. — Special Correspondent
