Spate of new programmes on the telly Out of the Box



Actor Prabhakar

Some major internal changes in the ETV resulted in the overhaul of its content in recent times. The revamp is on witness not only on the game show front but also on serials telecast on the channel. Some key decisions has seen most of the content donning an almost new look with fresh programming lined up.

Anchor-actor Prabhakar who was associated with several programmes is no more there and the changed look is very obvious of it. The coming days could see newer faces playing more dominant roles and a fresh infusion of anchors and actors livening up the channel.

New serial on Maa

Maa TV has added a new initiative to its bouquet of serials. The freshest fragrance comes in the form of ‘Laya’, the daily serial that promise to dish out content in style!

It is journey of protagonist through various phases from struggle of early days, learning, love and moral values to harsh realities of life. Gunnam Gangaraju who gave some of the successful serials on Telugu television such as ‘Amrutham’, ‘Radha Madhu’ and ‘Ammamma.com’ is behind ‘Laya’ that has Kalyan, Sridhar and Geetha among others in the cast. The serial is telecast from Monday to Thursday at 8 p.m.

Bhakti Channel

The TTD’s S.V. Bhakti Channel is compiling devotional content in a big way and many a small screen producers are busy rummaging through mythologies. Already, quite a few have been given serials for the prime time and most of them are set to start shoot and some of them will be going to the floor in coming weeks in the city. With other exclusive devotional channels too on air, the demand for devotional content has all of a sudden gone up.
