Velu Thampy Dalawa statue to be unveiled

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Social critic Sukumar Azhikode will unveil a statue of Velu Thampy Dalawa who died battling British forces in the early days of the colonial rule, at Kundara on Monday.

Education Minister M.A. Baby will preside over the function organised in this regard.

Water Resources Minister N.K. Premachandran will be the chief guest.
