“Implement rural job scheme”

PUDUCHERRY: The Puducherry unit of the All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) has urged the administration to take immediate steps to implement the National Rural Employment Guarantee scheme in Puducherry and Karaikal.

A resolution adopted at the 11th regional conference of AIDWA held here on Sunday said that though work under scheme was started in several villages in Puducherry and Karaikal regions, it had stopped within a few days.
