DYFI to put Manmohan on ‘ trial’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) will hold demonstrations all over the State on Monday and “put Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on public trial for betraying the country” through the nuclear deal with the U.S., the organisation said in a press release here. The DYFI would read out a “charge-sheet” at each of the demonstrations, “indicting the Prime Minister and the Congress of working for the interests of the U.S. without showing any concern for livelihood issues of the people of the country,” it said. —Special Correspondent
