Construction worker dies

A construction worker died after he allegedly fell from a high-rise building on Sunday.

The police said that when G. Manickam (40) of Indra Nagar, B.B.Kulam, was involved in the demolition of a portion of the auditorium building on the Government Medical College campus, he slipped from the structure, in which he suffered serious injuries. Though he was rushed to the Government Rajaji Hospital, he was declared ‘brought dead’.

Tallakulam police have registered a case.
