Harassed girl commits suicide
A 13-year-old girl committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at her house at Keesara on Sunday. Miraj Fathima took the drastic step as she was unable to bear the alleged torture by an engineering student for the last couple of days.
The girl was a ninth-standard student.
A manhunt has been launched to nab the engineering student, according to police.
Woman, baby killed in road accident
An unidentified woman and her two-year-old baby were killed in an accident at Lal Dhaba in Rajendranagar on Saturday.
The accident took place when she was crossing the road along with the child. The bodies were preserved at the Osmania General Hospital for identification and autopsy.
