Around 12-30 p.m. on Sunday, 60-year-old Laungshree, wife of Ved Ram, was killed when she fell on the road from a Blueline bus plying on route 259 -- from Anand Vihar to Jehangirpuri – and was crushed under the rear wheels. The victim was a resident of Ashok Vihar. The police have arrested the driver, Purushottam.
In another accident reported around 6-30 p.m. on Saturday, 21-year-old Seema came under the rear tyres of a Blueline plying on route 73 after she alighted from the vehicle at Patel Nagar. She was rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries later.
