Will intensively support deal: Agatha Sangma

New Delhi: Agatha Sangma, the youngest Lok Sabha member who took oath on Monday, said she was not “fully aware” of the composition of the India-U.S. nuclear deal, but will intensively support it.

Ms. Agatha, 27, is the daughter of former Lok Sabha Speaker and NCP leader P.A.Sangma.

When asked about Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and many other young MPs supporting the deal, she said, “I think that he (Mr. Rahul) is probably right. I too support the deal.” — PTI
