Pumphouses exempted from power cuts
HYDERABAD: Power authorities have decided to exempt a few more feeders in the city from load relief schedules so as to enable the uninterrupted functioning of the pump houses of the Hyderabad Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
The decision was taken after a coordinating meeting between the Board and the CPDCL Metro Zone officials on Monday.
It was in view of acute shortage of water supply through HMWSSB tankers.
The pump houses to be exempt from the power cuts include Road No.7 Banjara Hills, Venkatagiri, Vinay Nagar Colony, Borabanda, Hussain Sagar, Marredpally, Yellareddyguda, Erragadda (AG Colony feeder), Paradise, Tarnaka, Shaikpet Water works, and Asifnagar Water works, all drawing power from mixed feeders.
