Ganesh, Sridhar Raju shine

CHENNAI: M.A.M. Ganesh (Vidya Mandir) and V. Ganga Sridhar Raju (Santhome ‘A’) scored centuries to lead their sides to comfortable wins in the Boost-C. Ramaswamy Trophy u-16 tournament on Monday.

The scores: Vidya Mandir SSS 221 for five in 30 overs (M.A.M. Ganesh 102, Adithya Arun 69, C. Avinash 28) bt Jawahar Vidyalaya SSS ‘A’ 92 in 30 overs (K. Divya Prakash 27, Rohan Shah three for 10).

Kaligi Ranganathan MMHSS 150 in 28.5 overs (Shaik Abdul Shamad 57, K. Vinodh 25, Pranav K. Raman three for 18) lost to PS SSS 151 for five in 24.3 overs (M.S. Suraj 43 n.o., Pranav K. Raman 30, T. Siva Prakash 29, S. Buranuddin three for 33).

Modern SSS 222 for seven in 30 overs (Prasanna Narayanan 48, S. Aswath 75, V. Chaitanya Vignesh three for 26) bt Gill Adarsh ‘A’ 110 in 21.2 overs (V. Chaitanya Vignesh 51, Udhay Teja three for 27).

Santhome ‘A’ 220 for one in 30 overs (V. Ganga Sridhar Raju 112 n.o., B. Ashok Kumar 76) bt St. Bede’s ‘B’ 119 in 29.1 overs(A.Venkatesh 34).
