PUDUCHERRY: The National Cadet Corps will take out rallies in Puducherry on July 24 as part of its nationwide “Save the girl child” campaign. A release said five groups would take out rallies in several parts of the town. Three rallies would start from Muthialpet, Rajiv Gandhi Square, Indira Gandhi Square to Mahatma Gandhi Statue and two rallies would be held near the NCC Group Headquarters office in Lawspet. Rallies would be taken out in Karaikal, Chidambaram, Thanjavur, Tiruchi, Cuddalore, Mahe and Yanam the same day, the release said.
