Rishika loses

NEW DELHI: Rishika Sunkara lost both the singles and doubles finals in the ITF junior grade ‘IV’ tennis tournament in Damascus, Syria.

Melis Sezer of Turkey beat the third-seeded Rishika 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 in the singles final.

In doubles, Rishika and Gopika Kapoor lost to the top-seeded pair of Petra Jurova (Slovak Republic) and Anna Morgina (Russia) 1-6, 4-6.
