Survey for bypass begins

MANNARKKAD (PALAKKAD): A survey for the proposed Mannarkkad bypass on NH 213, being planned as a four-lane project, got to a start on Tuesday. Project Engineering and Management Services (P) Limited deputy general manager P.V. Bhagyalakshmi said the proposed bypass would help reduce the traffic congestion in Mannarkkad town. The company is the consultant for the project. A coordination meeting of the officers concerned and the consultant was convened by Deputy Speaker Jose Baby at Mannarkkad on July 19. The survey will be conducted in three phases.
