Rain lashes several parts of Karur

KARUR: The district recorded a total of 139.70 mm rainfall in the 24 hours ending 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday. While some pockets received heavy rain, others recorded sporadic showers. Rainfall recorded in the district (in mm): Panjapatti 46.40, Mayilampatti 27, Anaipalayam 26, Karur 23.40, Mayanur 6, Aravakurichi 5.5, K. Paramathi 2.80 and Kulithalai 2.60 mm.
