Illegal transportation of ore to be stopped

Bangalore: Public Works Minister C.M. Udasi on Tuesday told the Legislative Assembly that the Government would direct officials of the Forest and Transport departments to crack down on illegal transportation and sale of iron ore by companies that had been given mining leases by the Government.

He was replying to T.B. Jayachandra (Congress) during Question Hour.
