Belgaum: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seems to be gearing up for Lok Sabha elections and strengthening party organisations, particularly Yuva Morcha. BJP Yuva Morcha national secretary Sunil Kumar is touring the State as part of BJP’s “Yuva Jodo Abhiyan,” which is aimed at creating awareness about party programmes and policies among the youth in all the 224 Assembly constituencies in the State. The other objective was to enrol more number of youth, said Mr. Kumar here on Tuesday. Mr. Kumar said that the party would soon organise an interactive session with BJP’s prime ministerial candidate and Leader of the Opposition L.K. Advani in Hubli and Bangalore. These meetings will provide a forum for selected youth to express their views on various issues concerning the country. Later, he also addressed a meeting of the party’s youth workers. Those present on the occasion included Yuva Morcha district president Chidanand Demshettar, city president Umesh Patil and BJP’s district spokesman Sanjeev Hanamsagar.
