Belgaum: C. Veeranna, who is in the fray for the post of president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat, has said that he will appeal to the parishat members across the State to vote for him considering his efforts to promote Kannada language and culture. At a press conference here on Tuesday, he said he would not form any “syndicate” to lobby for his victory. Reiterating his 12-point election manifesto, he said he would accord priority to boosting pro-Kannada activities with the help of government funds.
