BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh Industry Minister Jayant Malaviya said here on Tuesday that foundation stone laying ceremonies and inauguration of projects worth Rs.350 crore would mark the two-day Investors’ Meet to be held in Gwalior on July 29 and 30. The Minister said projects worth Rs.350 crore would be launched during the meet. One of these would be the Rs.4.52-crore Stone Park project. Stone-based units have been allotted plots in this park to produce stone slabs and tiles. Also to be inaugurated is the Rs.40-crore CFL factory of Surya Roshni Ltd at Malanpur in Bhind district and the Rs.100-crore factory of Deendayal Industries Ltd in Gwalior. The Minister informed that about 300 investors have been invited to attend the meet, which follows the ones held in Khajuraho, Indore, Jabalpur and Sagar in the State. Top industrialistsThe industrialists who have given their consent to attend the meet include the Chairman of Fenner India Ltd, Raghupati Singhania, I.L. & F.S. Managing Director D.K. Mittal, Delhi-based Rio Tinto Private Limited’s regional representative N. Nick Senapati, Hero Aviation Managing Director Pankaj Munjal, Jindal Iron and Steel Company President Sajjan Jindal and Ispat India Managing Director Vinod Mittal.
