Rs.2.04 crore offerings at Guruvayur temple

Guruvayoor: The Sree Krishna temple here received Rs. 2.04 crore in cash offerings for one month from June 15.

Besides, devotees offered 15 kg of gold and 12.5 kg of silver, Devaswom sources said.

The cash received in the temple ‘bhandarams’ (cash boxes) were counted at the local branch of the State Bank of Travancore, sources said. — PTI
