KUNMING: There is no evidence to show that the two bus explosions that killed two people and injured 14 on Monday in Yunnan Province were terrorist attacks or aimed at next month’s Olympics, said an official here on Tuesday. Du Min, Vice-Mayor of Kunming, said at a press conference it remained unclear how many people were involved in the attacks. The police were investigating the case, said Mr. Du, also the Kunming Public Security Bureau chief. The explosions occurred during morning rush hour in Kunming. “This is the worst case that has occurred in Kunming in 30 years,” said Mr. Du. The bureau has announced a reward of 1,00,000 yuan (about $14,280) to anyone who offers information that can help solve the case. — Xinhua
