Exams postponed: The second year LLB (three-year course) examinations and the fourth year LLB examinations (five-year course) (98 scheme, Banking Laws- Negotiable Instruments Act) scheduled for July 23 have been postponed. New dates will be announced later.

UIT Principals: The walk-in interview for appointments, on contract basis, to the post of principal in the UITs at Alappuzha and Kottarakkara will be held in the office of the Pro-Vice- Chancellor at 10 a.m. on July 28.Applicants must be aged at least 45. Those who have retired from service can also apply.

The monthly salary for the principal would be Rs.10,000. Further details can be had from the varsity.

Computer Applications: The practical of the fourth semester B.Com Computer Applications (three main) examinations will be held on July 31 at UIT Kollam, UIT Alappuzha, and at the Naipunya School of Management, Cherthala, on August 2; at the SN College of Technology, Vadakkevila, UIT Pathanapuram, and at the Mar Thoma College of Science and Technology, Ayoor; and on August 4 at UIT Pirappancode and at UIT Aroor. The examinations will begin at 10 a.m.

Philosophy Viva: The viva voce of the fourth semester M.A. philosophy examinations scheduled for July 22 will now be held on July 24 at University College, Thiruvananthapuram.

The viva scheduled for July 23 will be held on that day itself.

MA Hindi: The results of the assignment submitted by the students of the second year MA Hindi (IDE) have been published.

Those who have complaints should contact the IDE coordinator on phone 9846690821.

Results: The results of the sixth semester examinations of the B.Com Computer Applications course (three main) have been published.

Applications for revaluation and scrutiny can be submitted till August 20.

BAMS Results: The results of the first professional BAMS examinations held in April 2008 have been published.

Applications for revaluation and scrutiny can be submitted till August 30.

Alumni Meeting: A meeting of the alumni of the Department of Malayalam will be held at 10 a.m. on July 26 at the department seminar hall.

Principals’ Meet: A meeting of the principals of self-financing colleges affiliated to the university will be held at 10 a.m. on July 26 at the Karmala Rani Training College, Kollam.

Valuation Camp: The valuation camp of the second semester PG English examinations scheduled to begin on July 23 will begin only on July 28.

Applications Invited: Applications have been invited for the advanced PG certificate course in counselling offered by the Centre for Adult Continuing Education and Extension.

Those with a degree from a recognised university can apply.

The last date for submitting applications is August 5. Further information can be had from the CACEE.
