Ministerial staff to stage protest

PUDUCHERRY: The Pondicherry Ministerial Staff Association on Wednesday announced that its members would stage a ‘dharna’ before the Chief Secretariat from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday in support of their demand for filling vacancies to the posts of junior and senior accountants.

The association said in a release that the protest was also aimed at urging the government to release the amended recruitment rules for the appointment of superintendents.
