Thumping win for STC Bangalore

BANGALORE: STC Bangalore scored a thumping 7-0 win over STC Thrissur in the SAI South Zone inter-hostel hockey tournament played at the KSHA stadium here on Wednesday.

Deepak slotted in three penalty corners (5th, 34th & 48th), Nitin scored once (23rd) off a penalty corner and again (53rd) off a field goal. Ramesh (3rd) and Mandanna (43rd) also slotted in one goal apiece for the host.

In another match, STC Secunderabad beat STC Kollam 2-0. Sampath Kumar (18th) and Sandeep Raju (51st) were the scorers.
