Wipro’s Eco-eye initiative

Bangalore: Wipro Ltd. has taken the ‘green computing’ concept further, launching Eco-eye chapters for its employees in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata and Delhi. The employees will interact with colleagues, business partners and customers, on increasing ecological sustainability in all of Wipro’s operations.

The Eco-eye chapters will also engage local communities in conserving energy, water, biodiversity and deal with waste disposal and climate change, according to Anurag Behar, Wipro’s vice-president for Social Initiatives. — Special Correspondent
