Dehra Dun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister B.C. Khanduri on Wednesday announced free travel on Raksha Bandhan for all women of Himachal Pradesh in State roadways buses. “Women of our State are free to move free of cost on Raksha Bandhan day,” Mr. Khanduri said during a rally. He added that the government would soon launch a special insurance scheme for anganwadi women free of cost. “This is a special gesture from the government for our sisters and mothers,” the Chief Minister said.He added that the government had issued 50 per cent reservation in panchayats to women.
